- What is LinkInk?
- LinkInk is a platform that helps people discover tattoo artists based on their tattoo style, location, portfolio, and experience. Instead of spending hours searching across multiple social media platforms, users can browse artist profiles in one place and easily compare different tattoo styles and portfolios. Our goal is simple: make finding the right tattoo artist as easy as finding the right restaurant or hotel.
- Is LinkInk free?
- Yes. Searching for tattoo artists is completely free for clients. Artists can create an account and join the platform during the pilot phase free of charge.
- Where does LinkInk operate?
- LinkInk currently serves the Czech Republic and Slovakia. We're building a strong local community first, with plans to expand across Central Europe once the platform is proven.
- Who should use LinkInk?
- Anyone looking for tattoo inspiration or searching for the right tattoo artist, as well as tattoo artists who want to showcase their work and attract new clients.
For clients
- How do I contact a tattoo artist through LinkInk?
- Every artist profile has a "Contact this artist" button that opens a form. Fill in your name, email, body part, budget, message, and optionally a reference image — we forward everything to the artist by email, and they can reply directly to you.
- Can I search by city?
- Yes. Users can search tattoo artists by city, region or country, and even set a radius around a specific city (5 to 250 km) to find nearby artists.
- Which tattoo styles are available?
- LinkInk supports all major tattoo styles including Fine Line, Blackwork, Realism, Traditional, Neo Traditional, Japanese, Minimalist, Geometric, Watercolor, Tribal, Dotwork, Ornamental, Lettering and many more.
- Are the artists on LinkInk verified?
- During our beta, we don't run a formal verification process — the platform is open for tattoo artists to create profiles and start showcasing their work. Once the beta ends, we'll introduce an optional verification badge: artists who request it will go through a manual review of their studio credentials and portfolio authenticity. For now, we recommend checking each artist's portfolio, contact info, and social media links before booking.
- What's the difference between LinkInk and Instagram?
- Instagram is great for scrolling, but it wasn't built for finding a tattoo artist. On LinkInk you can filter by tattoo style, city, language, or specifics like coverups or vegan-friendly ink. Every artist has a dedicated profile with their full portfolio, styles, price list, studio address, contact info and social links — all in one place. No algorithm decides who you see: search results are ranked by relevance, not engagement.
- Can I leave a review after getting a tattoo?
- Yes. Log in as a customer, open the artist's profile and click "Write a review". Reviews are public and help other clients pick the right artist.
For tattoo artists
- How do I sign up as a tattoo artist?
- Click "Register" in the top right, choose "I'm a tattoo artist", and verify your email. You'll get a dashboard where you can upload your portfolio, set your styles, add a price list, and manage your public profile.
- What do I need to create a profile?
- A profile photo (avatar), at least 5 portfolio photos, your display name, city, and languages. Optional but recommended: bio, address, phone, Instagram, price list. Once you complete these, your profile becomes searchable.
- Will I appear in Google search results?
- Yes. Every artist profile is publicly indexed, and we automatically build SEO landing pages for every tattoo style × city combination (e.g. "Fine line tattoo artists in Brno") — so people searching Google can find you even if they've never heard of LinkInk.
- How is my data used?
- We use your data only to run the platform: showing your profile publicly (only what you choose to share), processing payments through Stripe, and sending you transactional emails. We don't sell data to third parties. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Beta and pricing
- Is LinkInk still in beta?
- Yes. We're currently in beta — the platform is free for tattoo artists to create and use. Beta means we're iterating quickly based on artist and client feedback: expect small changes, occasional rough edges, and new features rolling out often.
- What happens after beta?
- Once beta ends, artist profiles will move to a paid subscription so we can keep the platform running and growing. The first 200 artists to sign up will get 50% off — forever. Search will always stay free for clients. Final pricing will be announced before beta ends so no one is surprised.
